And one more thing about the MOU

Questions are pouring in already so here are some answers:

Step increases and COLA are NOT affected by this agreement. We will still get our steps and our 2.5% COLA for this year.

At this time, payroll cannot 'smooth pay' the lost days' pay. Not all ESP's are on the same pay calendars so it would be intensive work to try to make this happen for everyone

Comp time and vacation time are paid off for some employees in the June paycheck so that is why the decision was made to take two days in May, hoping to offset the hit.

The $60 is an increase towards your insurance premium, paid by the District. Considering how much our insurance jumped this year, this is a nice benefit for all of us.
