Happy ESP Day, today November 18th, 2009! SKACE has over 2,000 active members, and there are over 2,400 classified employees in the Salem Keizer School District, and each and every one makes a difference in the lives and education of the students. Today you should be receiving a certificate thanking you for your service as well as a small gift from SKACE. The Superintendent sent each ESP a letter thanking all of us for our contributions. The Statesman Journal did a great article on several of our members, describing their jobs and what important work they do on a daily basis. Mayor Janet Taylor and the School Board, as well as Governor Kulongski, made proclamations that today is ESP Day, so we are being acknowledged and honored throughout the District, the City of Salem and the State of Oregon.
